Quality Payment Program

The Quality Payment Program is an experience under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services that evaluates the care for Medicare services given by doctors. This project is fairly complex and has pushed me to become an expert on the subject matter in order to translate dense policy to the core users.

The Goal

The challenge with this project is that the design is driven by dense and complex government policy that takes a while to understand. I came in with no background knowledge about the work and had to study a lot to get up to speed.

However, once I was able to learn and understand how the product works and it's purpose I found that the work is not that complex after all. Really at it's core, the goal of this product is to make it easy and painless as possible for doctors to submit their medical data to be evaluated for their services and receive a score.

Submissions and Feedback Experience

My main area of focus on this project was on the submissions and feedback experience. This is the part of the Quality Payment Program where doctors are logging into the app to submit their data and then receive a score on the quality of their care.
